‘Kitab Jatra’ gearing up for its third edition

Kitab Yatra Foundation is going to organize the third edition of ‘Nabil Kitab Jatra 2077’. The seven-day long festival is scheduled to begin on January 30, which will end on February 5.


According to a press statement released by Kitab Jatra, due to the pandemic, this year the festival will be held virtually. It will be aired on AP 1 Television and one can also view the entire session from ‘Kitab Yatra App’.


According to the press statement, the festival will feature interactive discussions with veterans and experts in various fields including language, literature, cinema, society and enterprise.


On the occasion, an individual who has contributed in the field of Nepali literature will be awarded ‘Prem Sahitya Samaan’. The bestselling book from Kitab Jatra—an online platform for selling books--will be given 'Kitab Yatra Best Seller Award.' The festival also features a digital book exhibition among other activities.
