CAN refunds ticket fee to supporters unable to attend NPL matches

The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) has announced that they will refund the ticket money to those supporters who could not attend the opening match of the ongoing Nepal Premier League (NPL) despite having purchased tickets.

KATHMANDU, Nov 30:  The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) has announced that they will refund the ticket money to those supporters who could not attend the opening match of the ongoing Nepal Premier League (NPL) despite having purchased tickets.


In the opening match of the NPL today, Biratnagar Kings and Janakpur Royals took the field, drawing an overwhelming crowd of supporters. Some fans with tickets were unable to enter the stadium to watch the match due to the large number of spectators.

The situation became tense before the match when supporters attempted to force their way through Gate 2. In response, the police had to resort to baton charges to control the crowd.
