Teenagers who allegedly robbed three shops in one night arrested

SURKHET, Jan 2: Police have arrested two teenagers after they allegedly looted a shop near Tribhuvan Higher Secondary School in Narayan Municipality-1. They had robbed three shops in one night and were arrested along with the stolen goods.

SURKHET, Jan 2: Police have arrested two teenagers after they allegedly looted a shop near Tribhuvan Higher Secondary School in Narayan Municipality-1. They had robbed three shops in one night and were arrested along with the stolen goods.


Police have not disclosed the names of two children, aged 14 and 15, who robbed the shop. The two boys, who have their permanent homes in Narayan Municipality, had broken into and robbed Pandey Fancy Shop, Topendra Mobile Repair Center, Bashishta Bhattarai Pooja Materials Retail and Vegetable Shop.

According to Dailekh Police, the teenagers broke into the shops and stole the goods along with cash. Police have recovered the stolen goods as well as tools used in breaking the lockers from them.


Dailekh District Court has remanded them into judicial custody for five days for the necessary investigation. According to Dailekh Police Chief DSP Bhuvaneshwar Shah, the arrested teenagers are kept at a Juvenile Detention Center.
