KATHMANDU, March 29: The Nepal-Italy Chamber of Commerce and Industry (NICCI) celebrated a significant milestone with the success of its 10th Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Friday in Kathmandu. The event marked the chamber’s journey towards fostering robust economic ties between Nepal and Italy.


According to a press release issued by the chamber, a significant highlight of the event was the unveiling of the ‘NICCI Directory’ by Rekha Sharma, Minister for Information and Communication of Nepal, symbolizing a moment of progress and enhanced connectivity within the chamber.

Moreover, the AGM served as a platform for recognizing and welcoming newly appointed members, who received membership certificates as a testament to their commitment to NICCI’s vision of promoting trade and investment between Nepal and Italy.


Sanjay Agrawal, president of NICCI, expressed gratitude among all members for their unwavering support and dedication. He reiterated NICCI’s steadfast commitment to nurturing business relationships and catalyzing economic development between Nepal and Italy.


The statement added that the NICCI remains dedicated to facilitating trade and investment opportunities, building upon the success of its 10th AGM. 


“The chamber is poised to embark on new initiatives aimed at further strengthening the bilateral ties and promoting economic prosperity for both nations.”
