Nepal Police grants ‘special promotion’ to 10 policemen

KATHMANDU, July 18: Nepal Police has decided to give 'special promotion' to 10 police personnel. Spokesperson for Nepal Police, Deputy Inspector General of Police Kuber Kadayat informed Republica that the Inspector General of Police has the authority to grant promotion to the policemen with excellent performance.

KATHMANDU, July 18: Nepal Police has decided to give 'special promotion' to 10 police personnel. Spokesperson for Nepal Police, Deputy Inspector General of Police Kuber Kadayat informed Republica that the Inspector General of Police has the authority to grant promotion to the policemen with excellent performance.


According to him, Sub Inspector of Police Tilram Bohara Sarki, working at the National Police Academy, has been promoted to Senior Deputy Inspector. Police Assistant Sub Inspector Arjun Setthi, who was transferred to the Tribhuvan International Airport Security Office, and Bamdev Ghimire of the Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority, Butwal, have been promoted to sub inspectors of police.

Similarly, among those who have been promoted to the rank of Head Constable from assistant constable are Subas Nepali of District Police Office, Solukhumbu, Laxman Sapkota of Central Bureau of Investigation, Bhudarmani Joshi of Narcotics Control Bureau, Gankumar Khandamul of Ward Police Office, Parsa, and Upendra Chaudhary of the Security Service Management Division at the Police Headquarters.


Similarly, Police Constable Sabir Ali Ansari working at the Special Bureau has been promoted to Senior Police Constable and Constable Lochan Adhikari of Nepal Police Headquarters, Naxal has been promoted to Assistant Head Constable.
