KATHMANDU, Aug 9: A motorcyclist has died in a collision with a pick-up van in Sunkoshi Rural Municipality-1 in Sindhuli on Friday. The deceased is Ganesh Rai, 35, of Chakraghatta, Sarlahi.
A pick-up van (Province 2-02-00 1 F 0487), which was en route to Sindhuli from Kathmandu, hit the motorcycle (Province 2-03-006 P 3755), coming from the opposite direction at 6:00 this morning.

Following the accident, injured motorcyclist Rai and Dhirendra Thakur, 33, the pillion rider, were sent to Dhulikhel Hospital in Kavrepalanchowk for treatment.
According to the District Police Office, Sindhuli, the motorbike rider Rai died during the treatment while Thakur is undergoing treatment at the same hospital.
