SARLAHI, Sept 26: Dhirendra Yadav, a 30-year-old man, fatally shot his wife and injured his father in Sarlahi.
Yadav, a resident of Haripurwa Municipality -5, Sarlahi shot his father Ram Dinesh Rai, 55, and wife Chitralekha Yadav, 25, at around 1:45 AM on Thursday. He is absconding following the incident.
Husband stabs wife to death
Sarlahi DSP Deepak Shrestha said that the wife died on the spot while the father Ram Dinesh is being treated at Malangwa Provincial Hospital.
The police have also recovered bullets from the incident site.
After receiving information about the incident, the team led by DSP Shrestha took control of the incident site and started investigation.
Sarlahi police have increased vigilance in the Nepal-India border area to arrest Dhirendra, who shot his wife and father and escaped.
