Nepal started observing International Women’s Day 34 years ago, commemorating a significant occasion that underscores the united commitment to human rights and the ongoing pursuit of gender parity. The theme for Women's Day this year (March 8) is "Invest in women: Accelerate progress," complemented by the campaign theme, "Inspire Inclusion”. Jugmani Chaudary searches for the records of registration of land. She is fully involved in the authentication of land distributed by the rural municipality. Equipped with her measuring tape, she visits the Office of Land Measurement, enters data into the computer system, and ensures the dissemination of information regarding land ownership and statistics of landless residents on the National Land Commission's website. Her expertise extends to analyzing satellite images of land, making her an invaluable asset in the field.

Tharus are regarded as the sons of the land of Western Nepal. Chaudhary's father is a farmer. Therefore, she has been able to feel the farmers’ agony very well. Especially since 2066 BS, Chaudhary has been working to solve the problems faced by the farmers and the landless.
In Dangisharan Rural Municipality, there are 163 landless Dalits, 196 landless non-Dalits, and 3,451 unorganized residents. Chaudhary is currently engaged in land surveying efforts aimed at resolving the issues faced by these individuals, involving representatives from government and non-governmental agencies.
Chaudhary endeavors to address unresolved issues from previous land commissions. She actively seeks out landless individuals who have missed applying to the commission due to various reasons. Upon locating them, she assists in gathering necessary documentation and facilitates their registration process.
From problem identification to evidence gathering and registration, Chaudhary manages all aspects of the process single-handedly, earning recognition for her activism within the district.
