KATHMANDU, Oct 25: The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) has relieved 11 experts of suspended CIAA Chief Lokman Singh Karki from their posts.
The incident follows the suspension of Karki as CIAA Chief after the registration of an impeachment motion against him at Parliament, questioning his professional conducts.
The expelled experts include Karki's chief expert Komal Prakash Ghimire and his daughter Adhyashree Karki, who was appointed medical expert.
A CIAA meeting held on Tuesday under the chairmanship of acting CIAA Chief Dip Basnyat made a decision to this regard and it would come into effect from November 2, said CIAA Assistant Spokesperson Khagendra Prasad Rijal. RSS
