Socket bomb detonated targeting Upendra Yadav’s vehicle

JANAKPUR, Dec 2: A socket bomb has been detonated targeting a vehicle carrying Federal Socialist Forum Nepal Chairman Upendra Yadav in Dhanusha district on Thursday afternoon.

JANAKPUR, Dec 2: A socket bomb has been detonated targeting a vehicle carrying Federal Socialist Forum Nepal Chairman Upendra Yadav in Dhanusha district on Thursday afternoon.


The bomb exploded on the road 10 meters away from Yadav’s vehicle. The explosion was loud and it occurred at around 5:10 pm. Yadav escaped unhurt. No damages have been reported.

The bomb went off at Nocha Pokhari in Janakpur Sub-metropolitan City-12, targeting Yadav, who was on the way to Janakpur from an election program organized by Rastriya Janata Party Nepal in Dhanusha constituency-3, Phulgama.


Yadav is contesting the federal parliamentary elections from Saptari constituency-2.
