Yeti's flight aborted shortly before the take-off in Biratnagar

MORANG, July 29: Yeti Airlines flight from Biratnagar to Kathmandu was aborted at the last minute due to a mechanical malfunction. The Biratnagar office of Yeti Airlines said that the flight was aborted due to a technical snag as it was about to take off to Kathmandu at 7.30 am on Friday morning.

MORANG, July 29: Yeti Airlines flight from Biratnagar to Kathmandu was aborted at the last minute due to a mechanical malfunction.


The Biratnagar office of Yeti Airlines said that the flight was aborted at 7.30 am on Friday morning due to technical snag .

There was a problem with flight number YT 786 with call sign MM, which was about to take off from Biratnagar with 60 passengers onboard.


According to Prem Kunwar, Station Manager of Yeti Airlines in Biratnagar, the aircraft that came from Kathmandu with passengers on Thursday evening made a 'night stop' at Biratnagar Airport.


"After the passengers sat in their seats, the news came when the plane was preparing to start," Kunwar said, "All the passengers have disembarked from the aircraft." We have called a technician from Kathmandu to identify the problem. Such a problem occurs sometime in planes is a normal thing.


The flight will be regular only after the technician from Kathmandu arrives and resolves the problem. Due to the problems in the plane, An alternative arrangement was made to take the passengers to Kathmandu after the aircraft experienced technical snag.
