KATHMANDU, June 19: With 426 new cases of coronavirus in the past 24 hours, Nepal's COVID-19 tally has reached 8274.

At a daily media briefing, Jageshwar Gautam, the spokesperson for the Ministry of Health and Population said that 426 persons tested positive for coronavirus across the country on Friday. "With this, the number of COVID-19 cases has climbed to 8274," Gautam said. 


The country's COVID-19 death toll has reached 22, he said adding that no new death was reported in the past 24 hours.
