Nagarik journo Thakuri bereaved of his father
Veteran actor Jayanendra Chand Thakuri died on Sunday. Thakuri who was suffering from paralysis for almost nine years, died at the age of 80.
Thakuri died at 11:20 am. His dead body was cremated at Pashupati Electric Crematorium the same afternoon.
Thakuri, who has acted in more than 100 films, has also acted in some television serials. Some of his well known movies are ‘Jeewan Rekha’, ‘Kanchhi’, ‘Biswas’, ‘Maya Priti’, ‘Feri Bhetaula’, ‘Angarakshyak’ and ‘Parkhi Base’ among others.
He is survived by his wife and daughter.
