Dinesh Sagar Bhusal, the Chief District Officer of Gorkha, revealed that the contents of the pressure cooker included fragments of glass, black residue from batteries, and a lighter.
Bhusal clarified, "Inside the suspicious item, we found black battery residue, glass fragments, and a lighter. It was not an explosive device itself."
He further explained to Republica, "Someone may have intentionally left it there. It appears to be associated with anti-MCC sentiments, as leaflets were found nearby with the message 'Let's cancel the MCC, let's stop it on September 2.'"
Following the safe disposal of the suspicious object, normalcy has returned to the area, with traffic and daily life resuming. Authorities have initiated an investigation to identify the individuals responsible for placing the items and finding out the motives behind it.
