KATHMANDU, Sept 13: A group of taxi owners staged a protest by blocking the road with their taxis in Jadibuti, Kathmandu, demanding the government ban ride-sharing apps. The protest began this afternoon.


The taxi owners allege that various ride-sharing apps are forcing passengers into their vehicles and picking up offline passengers, prompting their demonstration.
