KATHMANDU, Sept 28: The Spark Adventure 2023 has embarked on its journey, with over 200 enthusiastic participants ready to explore the pristine beauty of Sailung. This adventure, organized by Spark Cars, aims to shed light on the hidden gem of Sailung, a remote area nestled on the border of Dolakha and Ramechhap districts.
The adventure kicked off amidst the enchanting melodies of Panche Baja at Mirabell Resort in Dhulikhel on Thursday morning. After the inauguration, a diverse group of more than 200 adventurers began their expedition to Sailung.
Sailung, known for its confluence of countless small hillocks and a sacred ambiance, is often referred to as the ultimate 'hill station' with its expansive snow-covered vistas. Organizers highlight that Sailung is a harmonious fusion of nature and environment, making it a vital hub for tourism.

Padam Parajuli, General Manager at Spark Group, expressed his commitment to promoting Sailung as a tourist destination: "This time, we aim to highlight the tourism potential of Sailung. It's a place of immense natural beauty and unique characteristics."
In the program, the star-studded lineup of participants includes Captain Vijay Lama, actor Nikhil Upreti, singer Yash Kumar, comedian Sandeep Chhetri, and other artists.
Program Coordinator Amar Deep Bhattarai mentioned that folk singer Prem Raja Mahat, artist Garima Sharma, writer Buddhi Sagar, Dr Ranjit Baral, comedian Kailash Karki, traveler Srijana Sijju, artist Swanika Bastola, and many others will join the three-day adventure from September 28 to September 30. Notably, officials from administrative and security agencies are also partaking in this unprecedented country tourism promotion program.
AIG Shyam Gyawali of Nepal Police, Yogesh Bhakta Wade, Chief Executive Officer of IME General Insurance, and a cohort of doctors, embassy representatives, and diplomatic mission delegates are actively engaging in this remarkable initiative.
Similarly, Captain Lama expressed his anticipation, saying, "For three and a half decades, I've soared above Sailung and marveled from the skies. Now, I am thrilled to set foot on its hallowed ground." Action star Nikhil Upreti, known for his affinity for spirituality and nature, is equally enthusiastic, citing his eagerness to visit the same land that Lord Buddha once tread.
