KATHMANDU, June 28: Nepal Police on Friday has made public Santosh Karki who was arrested on Thursday on the charge of syringe attack.
According to Spokesperson at Kathmandu Metropolitan Police Range Hobindra Bogati, Karki asserted that he used a pointed thin piece of wood to prick the skin of women in the beginning. Later on, he started attacking women with a metallic pointed object used in the construction of a building.

Bogati also quoted him as saying that the motive behind his attack was no more than fun.
Karki, the owner of a restaurant located at Maharajgunj, used to prick the skin of women with pointed objects while returning to his residence in Naikap of Kathmandu after closing his restaurant at 10 pm.
Police have taken under control the motorcycle(Ba 47 Pa 1331) used in the alleged syringe attack. The police have doubted Karki’s assertion on the nature of his crime.
