RAUTAHAT, Nov 11: Rautahat police rescued 38 Indians who were stranded in the brick factory. The Rautahat police said that 38 people from Uttar Pradesh, India, who were stranded in the Aman brick factory in Paroha Municipality 4 of Rautahat, were rescued on Wednesday night.
Of those rescued include 18 women. District Police Office, Rautahat said that a police team was deployed from the area police office Rajpur to rescue them after receiving information that more than three dozen Indians were stranded in the brick factory.
The Indians, who were rescued on Wednesday night, were handed over to the SSB at Bairganiya in Bihar's Sitamarhi district on Thursday.

The rescued Indians are residents of Samat Aliyarpur district of Uttar Pradesh. Hundreds of men and women from various districts of Uttar Pradesh are working in Rautahat's brick factory. During the time of operation of the brick industry, Indian workers come to work at various brick industries in Rautahat.
