The trend of organizing an open house event to inform the public about the scope and facilities of their colleges and universities are on a rise on a global level. Following this trend, Oscar College of Film Studies organized an open house event on Saturday, in their college premises. Teachers, students, and the parents of the students were present at the event. During the event, the college faculty talked to the participants about filmmaking and the changes in technology.
In the event, participants got a chance to learn about the development of the camera. Academic Director of the college, Manoj Babu Panta, informed that all information of filmmaking was discussed in the program. “From Obscura to VFX, we discussed all technology that is related to filmmaking. We also showed all required materials of filmmaking,” said Panta.

Not just the camera, participants also got the chance see live acting by the students of the college. The event also featured a photo exhibition where 20 photos depicting the lifestyle of the students of the college were showcased.
The concept of organizing open house event in the college was introduced by the Ashma Pokharel, administration head of the college. Pokhrel who went to Israel last year for a film workshop and noticed the trend of organizing this kind of event stated the press release.
