KATHMANDU, April 25: Nepal Republic Media Pvt Ltd on Monday honored Nagarik Nayak (Nagarik Heroes) amid a special ceremony organized on the occasion of its eighth anniversary.
The NRM honored artists Dhurmus-Suntali for their reconstruction effort while Pasang Sherpa from Solukhumbu was honored for his continuous effort to widen trail in Khumbu region. Likewise, cooperative activist Phul Kumari Yonjan Shrestha was honored for uniting more than 23000 women in Siraha and running a successful cooperative.
NRM celebrates eighth anniversary
NRM Chairman and Managing Director Binod Raj Gyawali and NRM Director Shova Gyawali felicitated the four Nagarik heroes with certificates and tokens of love. Meanwhile, Founding Chairman of the NRM Hem Raj Gyawali officially inaugurated the new venture of NRM Radio Nagarik 96.5 MHz.
