KATHMANDU, Feb 23: Nexus Cricket Academy defeated Himalayan Cricket Academy (HCA) by 103 runs in the Orchid College Second Himalaya Cricket League in Kathmandu on Saturday.
At the Mulpani Cricket Ground, Naren Saud took 12 wickets in two innings to bundle out HCA in both the innings and help his team register a big win.
In the first innings, Nexus won the toss and elected to bat first, and was all out for 134 in 44.4 overs.

Sandeep Khadka picked up five wickets for HCA giving away 43 runs in 14.4 overs with three maidens, while Prakash Karki took three wickets with four maidens in 15 overs. Also, Pratish GC pocketed a wicket.
Saud then took five back to back wickets. Saud took seven wickets giving away 47 runs in 11 overs with three maidens. Likewise, Krish Karki picked up two wickets, while Aakash Chand claimed one. HCA’s Rajat Timalsina scored 45 runs.
In the second innings, Nexus’ Aakash Chand and not out Snoz KC scored half-centuries with 57 and 50 runs respectively. The team declared its innings for 232/9.
Nexus’ Saud picked up another five wickets, while Aakash Chand pocketed four wickets in the innings as HCA was bundled out again for 146/10.
