KATHMANDU, August 9: The Secretariat of the Nepal Federation of Indigenous Nationalities organized a cultural ceremony with a rally in the capital to mark the 28th International World Tribal Day on Tuesday.
The rally started from Bhrikutimandap and ended at Nepal academy hall. The participants of the rally celebrated this day by singing and dancing and wearing clothes and jewelry that reflect their ethnicity.

This day has been celebrated every year since 1994 after the United Nations declared August 9 as the World Tribal Day.
