Himalayan Bank extends aid to earthquake victims

KATHMANDU, Nov 10: Himalayan Bank Limited has extended its aid to the earthquake victims of Jajarkot, Khalanga and Musikot, West Rukum under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative. The Bank handed over the food materials to the Chief District Office, Jajarkot, Khalanga on November 07, 2023 and Chief District Office, Musikot, West Rukum on November 08, 2023 for further distribution to the victims.

KATHMANDU, Nov 10: Himalayan Bank Limited has extended its aid to the earthquake victims of Jajarkot, Khalanga and Musikot, West Rukum under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative. The Bank handed over the food materials to the Chief District Office, Jajarkot, Khalanga on November 07, 2023 and Chief District Office, Musikot, West Rukum on November 08, 2023 for further distribution to the victims.

The Bank has donated food materials equivalent to Rs 2 million to the earthquake victims. The 6.4 Richter scale earthquake that jolted Jajarkot on 11:47 PM Friday November 03, 2023 has severely affected Jajarkot Khalanga and Musikot, Rukum West. Many have lost their lives  and their houses. In response to this tragic situation, Himalayan Bank has provided essential food items, including rice, lentils, salt, and cooking oil, with the intention of supporting the earthquake-affected communities.
