Hilly regions expected to see partially cloudy skies; mountainous areas likely to receive light snowfall

KATHMANDU, Dec 9: The weather will be generally clear in the rest of the country with partly cloudy weather in the hilly parts of the country this afternoon.

There is a possibility of light rain in one or two places in the hilly areas of Koshi province. There is a possibility of light snowfall in one or two places in the high hills and mountainous areas of Koshi and Gandaki provinces.

Similarly, the weather will be partly cloudy in the hilly areas tonight and it will be generally clear in the remaining areas. There is a possibility of light rainfall in one or two places in the hilly areas of Koshi, Gandaki and Karnali Provinces. 

Also, there is a possibility of light snowfall in one or two places in the high hills and mountainous areas of Koshi, Gandaki and Karnali Provinces, according to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology.
