Fake examinees arrested from CTEVT exam

BIRGUNJ, Aug 12: Police have arrested two fake examinees during the exam conducted by the Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT) at the National Medical College at Bhediyahi.

BIRGUNJ, Aug 12: Police have arrested two fake examinees during the exam conducted by the Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT) at the National Medical College at Bhediyahi. 


Those arrested are 22-year-old Jog Narayan Yadav of Jethariya of Amuniya Rural Municipality of Rautahat district and Kausal Prasad Yadav of Dharampur of Gadhimai Rural Municipality of the same district. They were arrested from the exam hall while writing the exam papers on Saturday morning.

Police said Jog Narayan had appeared in the proficiency certificate level nursing exam in place of one Chhote Lal Yadav, resident of Dharampur of Gadhimai Rural Municipality and Kausal was writing the exam on behalf of one Ramakant Sah of Rautahat.


Managing Director of the Medical College, Mohammad Basruddin Ansari said the police arrested the fake examinees red-handed. “We had just provided the college to the CTEVT and we are not responsible for conducting the exams,” added Ansari.


Police said the arrestees are in police custody and are being investigated.
