Expressing through colors

A total of 29 paintings are on display at the exhibition titled 'Colors of Change' by artist Ranju Yadav. The exhibition began on March 30 at Nepal Art Council, Baber Mahal.

A total of 29 paintings are on display at the exhibition titled 'Colors of Change' by artist Ranju Yadav. The exhibition began on March 30 at Nepal Art Council, Baber Mahal.


Artist Yadav is active in the art-sector for a while now. She is heavily influenced by traditional Mithila art. Her company with this form of art has lasted for six years. The exhibition features her art works from the past three years.

The paintings are themed on social issues like dowry system, abortion, child marriage, discrimination, among others.  According to the artist, it is through her colors and paintings tht she expresses her wish and the need to get rid of all the social evils of the society.


The exhibition continues till Wednesday.
