KATHMANDU, August 1: Chief Justice Cholendra Shumsher JBR has urged the media persons not to carry news on the cases that are sub-judice in the court, arguing that it could affect the judiciary's performance for justice delivery.

At a program organized to discuss the fourth 5th strategic plan for the judicial sector here today, Chief Justice JBR reiterated that if the news is carried on the sub-judice cases and questions were raised on them, it would affect the justice delivery process. "If a scholar pens his thought about sub judice case, such publications are also presented during the court's proceedings. That could influence the judicial performance," he said.
