32,000 people in four districts of Madhesh Province to be vaccinated at home

KATHMANDU, Feb 4: Vaccination against COVID-19 is being carried out in four districts of Madhesh Province. A door-to-door vaccination program has been inaugurated in Rautahat, Sarlahi, Mahottari and Dhanusha of Madhesh Province under the government's vaccination campaign against COVID-19.

KATHMANDU, Feb 4: Vaccination against COVID-19 is being carried out in four districts of Madhesh Province. A door-to-door vaccination program has been inaugurated in Rautahat, Sarlahi, Mahottari and Dhanusha of Madhesh Province under the government's vaccination campaign against COVID-19.


Minister for Social Development of Madhesh, Nawal Kishor Yadav, inaugurated the first vaccination program against COVID-19. A total of 32,000 people including pregnant women, senior citizens, and differently-abled people will be vaccinated with the first dose of COVID-19.

The government of Nepal has set a target of vaccinating 100 percent of the population against COVID-19 by April. The government has launched this program in order to meet the target to vaccinate all within mid-April. 


Coordinating with district health offices, local and provincial governments, the organization aims to vaccinate 32,000 people at the rate of 8,000 each in four districts within the next four months.
